"The Cradle" has never been more exciting. Created by well-known sculptor Charles Gotthard and owned by Debbie Van Vuuren and Willem Prinsloo, we have established the perfect venue for families, functions and motoring enthusiasts alike. Only 70 km from Johannesburg and 90 km from Pretoria, Auto Cradle Estate is in the middle of the Magalies Meander and just a short drive from attractions like Maropeng and Sterkfontein Caves. It is therefore the perfect destination for a country getaway. The ideal setting for  parties, new vehicle lauches, bikers rallies, weddings or a picnics in the country, or simply to relax and unwind. Added to our venue's attraction's is a private dining area for parties up to 100 guests, a small conference area accommodating 20 to 50 delegates, an intimate library and games room, all set in  park like grounds.  We specialise in weddings, birthday parties, 21st parties and children's birthday parties - any age and any theme from girls tea parties to survivor parties. We also have an extensive menu of wholesome meals and snacks and welcome bikers breakfasts as well as day visitors. A well stocked bar with an excellent wine selection awaits our guests.  Picnic baskets are available by prior arrangement. We have also now added a 4x4 and quad bike track, a sturdy jungle gym and sand pit to our facilities. We also occassionaly host country markets so drop in to stock up on fresh veggies and home baked delicacies.
